She’s Still Here!<\/h2>\n

I’m happy to say that this pale beauty appears to have made Little Piney her home. \u00a0The partially leucistic female Northern Cardinal seems comfortable vying for feeder space with the Chipping Sparrows and her own kind today in the front yard oak. \u00a0She first appeared at Little Piney last week, and it took a few days of research to understand her coloration. \u00a0For more information about this bird, a female with non-phaeomelanic coloration see my last post Leucistic Northern Cardinal and More Winter Birds<\/a>.<\/p>\n
