Sometimes it’s the little things that delight me the most. \u00a0A single bluebonnet is just as stunning as bluebonnets en masse in the field. \u00a0I see tiny treasures all the time at Little Piney, and I’m happy that I can capture some of them with my camera.<\/p>\n

Some recent small wonders–<\/p>\n

A perfect little ladybug, smooth and precise on a fuzzy thistle leaf–<\/p>\n

The sunburst symmetry and textural contrast in these thistle buds–<\/p>\n

The trefoil spiderwort just after the rain with it’s perfect complementary hues of yellow-green and blue-violet–<\/p>\n

This grass-green dragonfly who would vanish if not for the shimmer of his wings–<\/p>\n
